Book a meeting room

Last week we hosted the Bristol Bloggers event at our newly renovated coworking space. We had the chance to not only showcase our space, but enjoyed learning about food photography.

The Bristol Bloggers Network event was a fun evening of socialising and networking over delicious food and drink. The evening kicked off with a welcome drink and tour of our rooftop terrace giving everyone a chance to absorb the sweeping views over Bristol. Following the tour of the roof terrace, we introduced the attendees to Origin Workspace, giving them an insight into coworking spaces and what a working day looks like at Origin Workspace.

We were fortunate to be joined by Bristol-based food blogger and photographer Thom Whitchurch, better known as Thom Foodery. Thom hosted a workshop on food photography, sharing great tips on how to get the perfect food shot. With an array of food from local suppliers including Eat a Pitta and Pinkmans Bakery, it was the perfect opportunity for guests to put their tips to practice. Once the camera rolls had been filled, it was time to tuck in and mingle.

Following the food workshop, everyone joined our community host Hebe for a full tour, showcasing our meeting rooms, cellular office spaces, hot desks and in-house gym.

With tours finished, we kept the drinks flowing during some laid-back networking before calling it a night and sending guests off with their Origin Workspace goody bags.

A huge thank you to Heather Cowper for organising the evening and Becky Ward for doing the photography.
